* 1 cup mayonnaise 
* 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 
* 1 can or jar (12 to 14 ounces) artichoke hearts, drained but not marinated 
* 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 
* 1/8 teaspoon onion powder, optional 
* 1/4 cup minced roasted red pepper

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPETIZER RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
* 1 cup mayonnaise 
* 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 
* 1 can (14 ounces) drained and chopped artichoke hearts 
* dash garlic powder 
* 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion 
* 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped ripe tomato

INSTRUCTIONS
Blend together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, artichokes, and garlic powder. Fill a 9-inch pie plate halfway with the mixture. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until lightly browned, at 350°.
Garnish with the green onion and tomato slices. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips of your choice.

APPETIZER RECIPE INGREDIENTS 

* 2 jars (6 ounces each) marinated artichokes, drained 
* 8 green onions, chopped (with green) 
* 16 ounces ricotta cheese 
* 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 
* 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 
* 1/2 cup sour cream 
* 4 eggs, slightly beaten 
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 
* 1/2 teaspoon dry leaf tarragon, crumbled 
* 1/2 teaspoon

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPETIZER RECIPE

Chop the artichokes coarsely and combine with the green onion, ricotta, Parmesan, and Monterey Jack cheeses, sour cream, eggs, flour, tarragon, oregano, thyme, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Blend thoroughly.
Brush a layer of filo dough with butter and place it in a 9-inch spring form pan, allowing it to drape up and over the sides.

Pour in the cheese mixture. Allow the top edge of the filo dough to extend about 1 1/2 inches above the filling. Fold the dough over the filling and top with the trimmed scraps.
Another sheet of filo is brushed with butter. Fold in half (butter side in) and place on top of the filling, shaping to fit the pan and folding the edges under. Brush with additional butter. Repeat with the remaining two filo sheets.
Bake the artichoke tart for 20 minutes at 400°F. Cover loosely with foil and bake for an additional 35 minutes. Serves 10 as an appetizer, warm or at room temperature.

BEAN AND BACON PIZZA

INGREDIENTS 
* refrigerated or homemade pizza dough, for 12" pizza 
* 1 can mild or hot chili beans 
* 5 slices cooked and crumbled bacon 
* 1 small onion, sliced in rings 
* 2 cups Mexican-style cheese blend, shredded

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425°F with the rack in the bottom position.
Grease a 12-inch pizza pan or a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Place the pizza dough in a greased baking pan. Bake for 5 minutes, or until the crust starts to brown. Combine the beans (undrained), onion slices, and bacon in a mixing bowl. Spread the bean mixture on top of the pizza crust. Evenly distribute the cheese over the bean mixture. Bake for 8–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling. The bean and bacon pizza appetizer recipe is complete. Great one !

* 1 cup apricot nectar 
* 1/4 cup tomato paste 
* 1/4 cup honey 
* 1/2 to 1 whole hot chile pepper, such as serrano or jalapeno, seeds removed, finely minced 
* 2 tablespoons cider vinegar 
* 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 
* 2 cloves garlic, finely minced 
* 1/2 teaspoon salt (about 16)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPETIZER RECIPE

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine apricot nectar, tomato paste, honey, chile, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and salt in a small mixing bowl. Combine thoroughly. In a 13x9-inch baking pan, place the drummettes. Pour the sauce over the chicken. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, basting occasionally with sauce, or until chicken is cooked through. This recipe yields 16 appetizers. It's ready to eat...nice one!

* 2 1/2 cups baking mix 
* 1 pound raw bulk breakfast sausage, hot or mild 
* 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 
* 1/4 cup finely chopped celery 
* 2 tablespoons grated onion 
* 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 
* 2 medium apples, finely chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all of the ingredients and knead until well combined. Place on a baking sheet and shape into 1-inch balls. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until browned, in a 350°F oven; turn after 10 minutes. Recipe for Parmesan Puffs

Try this delicious appetizer recipe, which includes chopped mushrooms, olives, and green onions, as well as Parmesan cheese, sour cream, and pastry...a delicious combination!

  • 1 1/2 cups flour, 
  • 1 teaspoon salt, 
  • 1 cup margarine, 
  • 1/2 cup sour cream, 
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, 
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions, 
  • 2 tablespoons chopped mushrooms, and 
  • 2 tablespoons chopped ripe olives

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine flour and salt; cut in margarine until mixture forms a ball. Stir in the sour cream. Divide the dough into four equal parts. Wrap each component in plastic wrap and chill for several hours. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Roll each section into a 12 x 6-inch rectangle on a floured board. Half of each rectangle should be topped with cheese, onion, mushrooms, or olives. Fold the dough in half to make a 6-inch square. Press the edges of the 6-inch square as you cut it into 2-inch squares. Continue until all of the dough has been prepared.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350°F. Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking for 30 minutes. This tasty appetizer recipe yields 36 appetizers....excellent! Have fun with it!

6 rolls 
* 4 stalks celery 
* 1 teaspoon salt 
* 1 teaspoon pepper 
* 1 tablespoon grated onion 
* 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup 
* 4 tablespoons olive oil 
* 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions for Appetizer Recipes
1. Cut a piece the size of a silver dollar from the top of each roll. Scoop out the roll's interior.
2. Finely chop the celery.
3. Combine the celery, salt, pepper, grated onion, tomato ketchup, olive oil, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Refigerate.
4. Stuff the rolls with the celery mixture and serve cold.

Broiled Barbecued Chicken Wings



Barbecued Chicken Wings, broiled

Ingredients:
  • between 16 and 20 chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp prepared mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • ketchup, 3/4 cup
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • two tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • a half teaspoon of salt
  • a quarter teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash and pat dry the chicken wings. Remove and discard the tips of the chicken wings; cut each wing in half at the joint. Preheat the broiler and grease the broiler pan. To catch drips, line the inside of the broiler pan with foil. Place the chicken wings on a broiler pan. Mix in the remaining ingredients until well combined. Refrigerate about a third of the sauce until ready to serve.
